So for our last trip to WDW (June 2012) I called sometime in March and HAD a PIN under my name and we got a fabulous discount...so we have another trip coming up this June and I called last night to see if I had another PIN and here is what happened...
Call #1 - the agent kept fading in/out and was obviously having issues with her line and when we could hear each other and I asked about a PIN she kept asking what was the PIN # I had been provided so she could look it up and see what the discount was...
hhmmm.
..not really what I was asking for I was hoping SHE could tell ME if I had a PIN....
but then I couldn't hear her anymore so I hung up and redialed..
Call #2 - the agent was clear as a bell so I thought we were off to a good start! (I did notice that the automated information I was asked before I was connected to an agent was different both times..) so I went through my information that I had 2 reservation, a room only first and then a package and I wanted to check and see if I had a PIN # attached to my name to apply it to one or both of the reservations...
So she asked me for the first confirmation number and I gave her the package number.....typing, typing, typing..and she comes back and says..'NO, I don't see a PIN available for this reservation, lets try the other confirmation number"..so I give it to her and...typing...typing..typing..and she says the same thing again, "nothing available for this reservation"..
so I'm confused and perhaps just overthinking this..BUT I thought that the PINs were attached to my name and not my reservations - like she should have looked under my name/address and told me if I had a PIN and not looked under my current reservations for a PIN.
BUT maybe that's what they've always been doing and I just didn't realize it??
OR perhaps this means I need to call and try Agent #3?
I will call later in the month b/c if memory serves me right it was later in March when I called and got my last PIN...
am I totally confused???
