When going to SW in July...

is it better on the weekends or weekdays, or no difference? We are hoping to do DC one day and SW another and I would plan accordingly if a certain day is better. Is it crazy around the 4th?

More questions...I know you get free days at SW when going to DC...can you visit SW BEFORE your day at DC? I was thinking of going to DC on July 4th and visiting SW on the 3rd (a thursday I think). How crazy will SW be that day?

Also, how soon do I need to book DC?

Weekdays are less crowded

...EVERY park will be jammed EXCEPT DC. DC only allows 1000 people a day. Its the perfect place to be on the 4th! See you there!
I booked DC last month for the 4th. I wouldn't wait too long.

You can visit SW before you go to DC. We just took our confirmation letter from DC to SW and they sent us where we needed to go to get our tickets.
