Well my trip is just over a month away, and I just this evening found a cheap deal on NWA that makes driving down seem like a real waste of cash.

So how would one go about packing whats needed for one person, to tent at the Fort? Im thinking 2 man tent, air mattress, blanket, double flat sheet and clothing and maybe a small collapsable cooler in a large duffle. For carry ons my Camera bag and a back pack with toiletries and my PC, the problem is where to store the PC during the day, any Ideas? To get around outside the park I know I can take the Bus to Sea World and USF (as long as i dont miss the last one at 6pm, did that once, opps:scared1: )

Any good pointers, I know its been done by families and couples but they could spread the gear among all of there baggage allowance, I've just got myself.

clkelley has done this several times, and she just recently laid out exactly what you need to do over the course of a few posts. (We should add this to the faq thread I think!)

Not sure what the name of the thread is. Have you tried doing a search using "fly" and "camp" or something like that?

If anyone can find the link to the thread, maybe you could paste it?
Good luck!

I have done this twice and will be doing this for the third time in 4 weeks :cool1:

I have taken a laptop before and when I went to the parks in the morning I took it with me and rented a locker. Locked it up and picked it up at the end of the day. Not the most convenient but it works and gives you piece of mind.

Other alternative. Stick it in the bottom of your duffel and put your dirty underwear and socks on top. Better than a padlock.
