Hi -- when doing a split stay, if I buy a refillable mug when I get there, is that only good for my first reservation? would I have to buy another one at the next resort? or do you buy them and pick the total number of days they are good for regardless of the resort you are at? thanks!

It's good at both! We had a package at our first resort, then room only at second. I think once you buy it they are good for a certain number of days from activation.

They are good for 14 days from when you purchase them regardless of the length of your stay, and you can use them at any WDW resort during those 14 days. So you don't need to buy another one for your second resort of your split stay. Oh, and if your stay is longer than 14 days, just keep the receipt and show them at the food court, and they will activated it for you when the 14th day is up. We stayed 16 days earlier this year and when the first 14 days expired, they just reprogrammed it for me for an additional 7 days.
