When doing a solo trip...

I stopped using it years ago even when it was my son and myself. There are days I just want to snack all day. Days I might want a sit down supper but since I don't eat huge meals, even at TS I eat an appetizer and a salad or soup and maybe a dessert (and a refreshing adult beverage). I tend to go F&G and F&W so most of my meals are at the booths. I eat the same when solo or with my adult son. I usually get a kid's meal for breakfast at a QS. Kid's meal for lunch at QS and what I said earlier for supper at TS. I rarely snack between meals unless snack are my meals.

I've used it in the past with groups and we've ALWAYS found it SO much food, and I usually don't buy a drink, or dessert anyways so it's just extra stuff already.
When free dining was released for this year, I jumped on the offer & booked it just incase any of my friends can come with me, if they can't & I go solo, I'll have to do some budgeting to see if the "free" dining is really worth it. If I was paying for it however, I would say no, I wouldn't use it.

Do you tend to use the Disney Dining Plan? Trying to figure out if it makes financial sense. I used it on my trip with my nephew and we didn't use all our quick serve credits, but traveling alone when I won't have to worry about finding something that he would like, maybe it would work better? Or, do you find yourself constantly eating to try to use all your credits? Thanks!
I've never purchased a dining plan. I don't eat enough to justify the cost.
