When does USF usually increase prices

We just booked Wyndham Bonnet Creek for a week in June 2015. I've looked at pricing options and will probably buy the 3 park 14 day passes for our family of 4 (2 adults/2 teens).

Do I need to buy tix now or can I wait a little bit? I'm thinking WDW used to change pricing in Feb, but I don't know about USF.

it's rumored that the motherland park tickets will have an increase this month.

there have been years when one theme park raises ticket prices, the others follow .....

i have no idea when prices will be raised but if you can buy your tickets now, do so just in case.

Undercover Tourist announced today that they'll be raising their ticket prices some time in February, and urged people to buy now. If UT is raising their prices it's because WDW and/or Universal are raising theirs, so you might as well get them soon.

I hope they don't increase the annual pass prices too substantially just yet! I don't have the money saved for mine yet.

UO preferred ap cost didn't increase last year when the motherland increased their tickets.
i renewed my ap in april and it was the same as the previous year.

who knows how it will be in 2015 for the ap holders......

If you hear about Universal increase Ticket Prices or AP prices and you have enough money saved to buy a ticket, you could buy the ticket then upgrade it to an AP for the difference in gate prices between what you bought and the current AP price. I bought a 4 day ticket before last years price increase from Orbitz during one of their sales and upgraded it for free to a Power Pass this year.

I think in May Universal increased AP prices but kept renewal rates the same. I think right now both Universal and Disney have different dates for their ticket and AP price increases. Ticket prices go up one date and AP go up on a different date.

Thanks for the tip. :) I can't do either yet, unfortunately. I'm a non-FL-resident, and the Flex Pay downpayment on the preferred passes isn't that much of a difference for me...would have gone for that option instead of the $140 one-day tickets had I know about it at the time. Oh well!

I can't remember, do Universal tickets (say a 4 day park to park) have expiration dates if never used, even for the first day? I have an AP and need tix for rest of family, just wondering if i buy now and we can't go if i'm out $$$.:thanks:

they don't expire.
i bought the 7 day PtP tickets 7 years ago and they are still valid.
i have the ap and used one of the old passes for my son last year.
in small print, mine stated expiration 2030.

so your 4 day passes will be valid until they are first used.

If you have some of them money buy it now with the free monthly installment plan. This way as long as you renew before it expires you lock in the price.

If I buy tickets from UT tourist today can I upgrade one of the tickets to an AP if I wish? If so, will the price I paid for the tickets be applied to the AP price? I'm only considering an AP if an APH rate comes out for May.

Yes, you pay the difference between the gate price of what you bought and the pass you're upgrading to. The "best" ticket at Undercover Tourist to upgrade seems to be the 2 day plus 1 free without an expiration date. They normally ship a 3 day ticket for that one. Where the 2 day plus 1 free with an expiration has a lower gate price. Most people say the cost to upgrade to a Power Pass was $9 + tax.

it is my understanding that, unlike WDW, Universal will not 'bridge' the price of a discounted ticket. I have tried to upgrade at the gate to PAPs/renewals using AAA tickets i stockpiled more than a few times in the past and was always only offered the $ amount I paid for the tickets. This includes before they actually discontinued the said 7 day park-to-park tickets.

In the past UT was always good to grab what they termed 'on-hand' supply of WDW/U tix after a 'surprise' price increase. I'd hate to see them now switch their prices over the same day as the official increase.

last i checked flex pay only available for resident pass with Florida/Georgia photo ID

I live in California and I have FlexPay. It was something like $100 or so down payment and then $14.28 a mth. When it automatically renews then the payment will go up a little as they take the rate and divide by 12. If you look online under non-Florida pass it will show the Flexpay options.

I am going in September for HHN. I was going to buy the 2 day park to park tickets with HHN add on!! Can I buy the park tickets now and then get the discounted "add on" rate when i get there since I have the tickets already, or will they not do that?
