As far as crowds and hotel pricing go? We're thinking of going right after Memorial Day. Is that peak summer time yet?

Value season ends June 28th, so anytime in June should be good for hotel pricing. However, crowds begin to start rolling in around mid-June when a lot of schools get out while the prices are still low.

June 28th? Is that right? Or did you mean May 28th? I wouldn't have thought it would be that late.

This is from the DL discounts link right above:

Ok, wow, thanks! Cool, since it's hotel low season maybe we can stay an extra day! :cool1:

Wow, I really hope that is true, I thought it was regular season.

I've been going to DL over the summer for the last 6 years, staying a week each time. We usually go in July or August. This year we went right when the kids got out of school on Saturday, the 16th of June. It was just as busy that week as the times we visited in July and August.

I hope its not super crowded the last week of May. We are going May 27- May 31. It's the day after memorial day. Hoping for good crowds and warm weather.

I think that it is relative though too, at slower times they have less staff, and less trains on the rides etc, so the lines tend to be about the same because the through put on the rides decrease.

for example IJA, they will run 2 loading platforms during the busy time, but only one during slower times.

actually no, the dates all end in Jan 08. Guess we have to wait till closer to 08 to find out the seasons for that year.
