When does the parade start at MNSSHP?

I'm trying to figure out what time I should try to make PS for LTT. Any idea on what the best time for dinner is on a MNSSHP night? We want to hear the story and see the parade too.

The first parade is usually about 8:30p.

Why not eat while the park is closed between 5:00p and 6:00p.

We try to get PS for LTT for 5:30 on the same day as MNSHHP. That way we will be finished eating when the park reopens for the party. It was great last year. We walked out the door from LTT and went right over at exacly 7pm to get our Halloween picture taken. You can get a PS for anytime that day, even when the park is technically closed to get ready for MNSSHP. I prefer to eat and get it over with so I have the whole night to enjoy the party.
