When does the ME (complimentary) end?

I heard conflicting news...ME was supposed to end in fall, now I heard it has been continued until the end of 2006? Anyone know how long ME will be free?

I dont think you will ever see it go away. They spent allot of money on the whole venture. And I dont think you will ever see a charge for it. Thats one the biggest appeals. If they start charging then people will just go back to the limo and there services.

I thought it was the end of the year, but the 50th celebration ends in the fall, so I don't know!?!?!?

In my completely personal opinion, I think the FREE ME will end with the 50th. I am guessing (really guessing!) that they will have a slight charge for it, still way below Mears and limo prices to keep it desirable. I'm thinking it will be "included" in packages, and a small charge for room only reservations.

If we were going in December again, I'd call and reserve now. They'd have to tell you if they were going to charge you for DME service.

There's a thread on the transportation board that says the service will be free for the rest of the year.

Someone posted that it may be free past that since Universal is starting the same type of service.

probably never. It is a huge draw, and what's more, if someone rented a car or something instead, they could go off site. you can't do that with ME.

While ME was worth it to us because of the savings, we would never pay for it. It was a sloooooow and cumbersome process. I'd much rather get a towncar and stop at a grocery store on the way, but you can't beat free!
