We're planning on taking our daughter in mid-December, 2006, and also would be interested in knowing if Disney has announced an official end date.

Isn't that the truth....mt last four days in Disney didn't give me quite the fix I needed...I've been plotting another trip since we got back.

I e-mailed my query at the Walt Disney World website, and received the following reply:

Dear Richard,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

The Happiest Celebration on Earth end date is September 2006.​

So that's the official line as of this morning.

We'll see what the story is after it has been going on a few months, eh?

We will be arriving 10/21/06 and I was looking forward to seeing the castle and getting a Happiest Celebration on Earth shirt! Do they acually sell shirts that say that? I hope so! Thank you all!
