When does the Fall 2010 college program end?

Because my quarter for college starts on Jan. 5, 2011 and I was wondering if i will be making it on time for my first day of school,?

My departure date is January 7. I think most of them are January 7, but I have read about people getting emails telling them that their departure date changed to January 3. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm sure that someone else has correct information.

Yeah, a lot of people's departure dates changed to Jan. 3rd and when I chose my arrival/departures dates Jan 3rd was the only option.

What I wrote earlier was wrong. You have to pick a date that will not interfere with your school, it says - if you leave early, you get restricted rehire status.

Yep, FA is leaving the 3rd. Fall is leaving the 7th. I think they just didn't want a million people all leaving on the same day!

I really hope that's not true - I was told by recruiting that with school documentation I could leave up to 3 weeks early. I CANNOT get a restricted rehire status because I want to establish a career with the Disney Company.

In that case, they may have changed it, and just forgotten to update the website. Or it's on a case-by-case basis.

This is from the FAQ on the website:

If a participant's school begins before he or she is scheduled to leave the program, are they able to leave the program early?
It is each participant's responsibility to choose program dates on the Participation Acknowledgement Form that do not conflict with his or her school dates.

We strongly recommend that participants consult with their school's Registrar's Office to investigate their school's schedule of classes.

If a participant leaves the program prior to his/her departure date, this participant will break his/her contract and will be given a "restricted" rehire status with our company.

The case may be that if they only have one leaving date, that may be why they changed the rules for you.

Who knows. But if they said it's good, it probably is.
