Forgive me if this is the wrong forum.

I'm contemplating booking our first family vacation (just got back from an anniversary vacation with just DH & I :cloud9:) for November. I understand that the holiday season begins in Nov. I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me more specific dates? Would we see Christmas decorations up if we went Nov 5-12? Or would we need to wait a little later in the month?

It looks like the 1st MVMCP is 11/8 so the MK will be mostly decorated except for the large tree (goes up in December.) The hotels start adding stuff in November. The gingerbread house the GF went up around the 15th last year.

If you go in early November ,you will see SOME holiday decorations. But most is completed in time for Thanksgiving weekend.Things like the Candlelight processional at Epcot and the Holiday storytellers do not start till the day after Thanksgiving. As previoulsly mentioned,Mk decorates early in time for the first MVMCP ( the big tree will not be up till after parade taping in early December). The resorts and other parks decorate in phases thru November. How much you see simply depends on where they are on the schedule. Some you will, some you won't.The Full holiday experience is best right after Thanksgiving

hopefully Osbourne will start at the same time as the first party just like last year...So DHS will be decorated too or should be anyway
