When Does The 25th DVC Anniversary End?

My next trip isn't unti the first week of January 2017. Will this still be during the 25th DVC Anniversary time period? Hoping there will be some events held during that week.

Hey neighbor! We'll be there that week too!! We went this same week this January and they were starting to pass out the 25th anniversary buttons that week so I think that week will be 1 year since they started the celebration. Probably iffy if it will still be going on...

Well that is the question. When did the 25th Anniversary start? Feb 1st, 2016? Jan 1st? Like when does the actual anniversary end?

Looks like the kickoff was 2/25 of this year so the wrap up ought to be around the same time you'd think

I'd imagine they'd keep it up just beyond NYE which makes that February date seem realistic. Of course, this is now run by my new buddy Ken Potrock, so with that in mind, I'd say 3 or 4 weeks after the lounge opens. "Well, it's been fun, but the 25th is over. What a shame. Lounge closed forever!"

I have to think that at the very least the DVC lounge in Epcot will still be open since it hasn't even opened yet.

I'm going May 8 to 15, as far as I know nothing is going on while I'm there. :-(

Usually stuff starts on Oct 1, Disney's fiscal year. So my guess is Sept 30.

I'm being a little facetious there. The truth is, the lounge is intended to drive sales. As long as DVD feels like it's helping them sell, it will remain. When they feel that it's not, it will go away ("based on member feedback" will be the official reason.)
