When does space mountain open

I recently checked on the mice age site and it said it wasnt goin to open till november,but on the disneyland site it says its gonna open on the anniversary bash thingy does any1 really know when it opens?

it'll open in november, hopefully. They're running behind schedule. both websites are technically correct. as the 'bash thingie' runs for 18 months.

There is a rumor that they're trying to get it up & running by 7/17/05, but that is strictly a rumor. We'll know more as time goes by & they start really gearing up for the 50-th anniversary.

This Space Mountain closure has already been too long and I can't see them delaying the re-opening past summer '05. I am hoping that they will be able to unveil the updated ride by the 50th anniversary on July 17. Mostly because I want to ride it when I am there.

Miceage itself (in Al Lutz column this week) mentioned the possiblity that it may open in time for the Anniversary (7/17/05). Even though the week before they said that there was no way it would open before Nov. '05 and that there was no budget for it until the 2006 (which starts OCt 2005)

i just saw that!! i hope that they get it open sooner..it's my favorite ride, and it's been down forever!!
