my kids go back August 18th. They are more ready for it than I am. I love the ease of summer. No homework, after school activities, and busses to catch.

I homeschool too and we decided to start early this year...today! We want to take a week off for fall break and a week off for spring break on top of the Christmas/New Year break. Hopefully we will be officially done by May 1st but we still do summer reading programs, reviews throughout the summer. My kids don't want to have a break at all but I think I need a short one!!

August 30th....DD goes tomorrow for pictures and her schedule. She's very excited to start high school. Her mother....we'll see.

I have to be back on campus on August 21st for Sorority Orientation but classes don't start until the 25th

Ours don't start soon enough! Sept 7 to be exact. Why they have to have a half day is beyond me! Why not just have a full day? Nowadays these teachers get so many stupid inservices, professional development days, etc.

Me too!! I am dreading the school year starting....its so great not to have to worry about getting her up and dressed for school, packing school lunches etc....

Today!!!
It was my last first day of school!!! I'm excited, but kinda sad!!
I am doing a joint enrollment program so I am only in two classes right now. Band and French, my other classes will be done with a near-by college. They start the 18th. Until then I only have to go from 8-9 and 2-3!
