When does premium pricing for the FB cabanas pitch in?

You'd think, with such a high demand, that DCL would build a few more. Not a lot, but a few more.

How many is a "few"?

The ships have over a 1000 rooms onboard, if DCL built 1000 cabanas, then there still would be people who didn't get them. And they couldn't charge as much for them. Once everyone is able to book a cabana, I would think not that many would care to.

Plus, where would they put them? I think they've pretty much "filled up" all the allotted development space they agreed to.

I was thinking, maybe 5 more on each beach. I don't know about the space part. You wouldn't want it to be too crowded or it wouldn't feel like your own slice of heaven. That said, adding a total of 10 more would at least mean more of concierge would have a crack at them and therefore a better chance platinum would also get a chance. Any more than that, and, you're right, they couldn't charge as much for it.

It's shocking that Disney hasn't yet doubled the price of CC cabanas. If they're all gone before even gold level cruisers' windows open, Disney is likely leaving thousands on the table each day.

I agree. I know we'd be willing to pay more for one but don't tell DCL.

Leaving on Sunday 25th. I am sorry if you book concierge and you feel that you deserve an opportunity to get 2 different day cabanas, but I will never agree. One I can understand, dont like it but hey you are spending more, but not 2

We were charged the regular rate and not the up charge on our May 19th Dream 3 night. Seems to be hit or miss right now.

Thanks. Our concierge info indicated 549$ for FB cabana. Not sure if their paperwork hasn't caught up yet.

Not sure how this thread turned into whether concierge should be able to book two on a double dip. Don't care. Won't apologize. Every single one of our cruises that got us to platinum have all been concierge. If anyone has a beef, it's with Disney. Not with me.
