start the year of a million dreams?

I just looked on their website and it still says spiderwick.

Anyone work for MD's or have some inside knowledge.

It looks like the new year of million dreams toys are princess and pirate themed. pirate: princess:

I would love to know more and when they start.

Anyone else?

Edited to add, they are here. I know what we are doing for lunch!

Yup, I saw that too, and I can't wait to start collecting them!! They should be out any time now that it's finally March!

Oh cute, as much as McD doesn't go along with my diet these would be good for surprise toys on the plane to Disney. Have to keep my eyes open for these!

I was hoping it would be today, but the website doesn't have it.

We went to MD for lunch yesterday as DD was still the old toys. The girls wanted to go again today. I am not going back until I know the new toys are in!

If the toy is really good we stock up on happy meals getting Chicken nuggets, apple juice and apple dippers since they all keep well and can be eaten later. :thumbsup2

Edited to add this link.

It's next up for sure! If you look at the bottom of any happy meal box there is always a note on it as to what promotion is next. It listed year of a million dreams on the spiderwick box last night. Maybe after the weekend would be my guess. Nice timing as we leave for Dinsye in just a few week with our 2 preschoolers! and 2 teens but what teen minds eating a chicken nugget?!

I read that the Spiderwick toys are available until March 14. Don't know if it's true or not, but just an idea of when they might be available. These look kind of cute. I have another question, though. I thought McDonald's no longer had Disney toys.

Disney and McD's contract ended. Apparently both Disney and McD did not want to renew, but left it open for occasional use. Disney is not obligated to use McD excusively anymore, but can make a short term contract if they want.

Boo hiss!!! That is 2 more weeks! I am sure it is a good movie for older kids, and it is great they have things for older kids. My 3 and 6 year olds do no like these toys. A few weeks ago we were at MD for lunch. Since there was no school and it had a play area it was packed with kids. NONE of the kids like the toys.

We went for lunch (I got DD 6 a happy meal to eat later since she was at school.)

They both got the Ariel wand. They seemed ok, but these aren't anything adults would like to collect (and not really WDW as much as Disney.) They are promoting the pirates and princess party.

The princess toys were "dress up" the pirate toys were more action figures, but some dress up type.

Still it is fun to find Disney stuff in a happy meal. :thumbsup2

Boo, we just went last night and still Spiderwick. Should have waited one more day!

We stopped there today. I didn't know about the toys, so that was a pleasant surprise. dd got a crown and ds got a pirate action figure..
We don't eat there very often at all and I don't think the toys are worth a trip there for those alone, but they were better than the toys they usually have, that's for sure.

We went today. Ds was SADLY disappointed because he wanted a ship or pirate and got a bandanna. He sad, "That's not a toy" I had to agree. The sad thing was the bandanna was too small. He is only 3 1/2 so I don't know how they will fit older kids. By the end of the meal he was happy. He can't wait to go back and try for a toy next time.
