When does it sink in?

I just was wondering something. When do you finally realize that you were in Disney World? When do you finally feel like you are home?

For me, I feel like I'm at home when I finally hear the Magic Kingdom music. I always feel very magical.

We usually stay at the same resort, so pretty much whenever wee see the Wilderness Lodge sign for me.

Last trip for me was getting off the bus and walking to the park (Hollywood Studios) on the first day. It just hit me how happy I was to be back after four years, with the Tower of Terror in the distance and hearing the Disney music.

When we hit Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, because it's always our very first ride. It feels like it really sinks in then.

Magic Kingdom definitely for me. Last trip we walked into the Magic Kingdom during the Celebrate a Dream Come True parade. I nearly cried.

This is so weird, but when it rains and the day becomes all about putting your ponchos on and off! We always go in June. So I really know I'm there and get in the zone when it starts pouring!!

We've been to CBR so often, that it's usually when we start the trip around the loop to our building after checking in at the Custom House.

Either that our waiting for the bus to get to MK right after we stow our gear in the room.

After we get to the hotel lobby to check in and then we bring our bags to the room. When we get our bags unpacked in the nice air conditioned Disney hotel room, that's when it sinks in for me

When I see the Minnie and Mickey archway at the entrance. I know I'm finally there and the magic is about to begin!

For me it's walking through Epcot, right near the fountains. Listening to that music and watching the fountains is where it hits me.

When I hear the welcome aboard disney's magical express speech on the buses at MCO !!! Gets me every time! And then again when the MK music starts on the bus when you pull in to the park!

I just did that today. The smile didn't come off of my face!

For me, when I see that entrance sign, I just say to myself, "Welcome Home Nico." I love IllumiNations, so when I hear the music I'm in a no stress kinda mood.

I first realize it when I can see disney from the plane or when I go to the Disney store in the airport. If we drive its normally when we go to downtown Disney our first night.
