Hi all,

I'm being very tempted to book a quick trippie to DLP for around the 19th Nov, which is Christmas season :cool1: .

We would probably be there Tuesday and Wednesday in the parks, all day. For those of you who have been before at Christmas, can you tell me where do you see Santa, and is it an organised appearance?

And the biggie for me - what time does it "snow" in the Parks? Is it every day? Does it coincide with anything ie parade times etc?

Thanks,

A getting-excited-at-the-prospect Elaine  .

Can't really help you with the snow question, but this year if you want to see Santa it looks like he will be having his own village. I think it is going to be in Adventure Land. I presume that it will open the same time as the Christams season starts.

Can't remember exactly what the timings were for the snow but if you asked a CM they'd be able to tell you or find out for you. I think it's something like every hour or two, on the hour and it looks truly magical!
Father Xmas has done his meet n' greet by City Hall at the start of Main St but there is speculation that this year it will be where the new Woody's Round Up is (where the Critter Corral used to be).

Thanks for those replies - well, the flights are now booked :cheer2: :cheer2: - we're going!

I don't know how many times a day it snows, but it's for sure right after the daytime parade.

Hopes this helpes.

** a story:

In 2002 when we went to DLRP in November we were watching the parade and next to me there was a litlle boy standing, he was about 4 years old.
Right after the parade it started to snow and he was yelling to his mother: "look mammy it is snowing, wow mammy it's snowing" And his mother responsed: "yeah hunny, that's Disney magic." And the boy: "ahhhhh."
It's was so sweet.....
