when does haunted mansion close for the holiday overlay

we have a trip in Oct and will be at DLR around Oct 10, 11, and 12th. Was wondering if we will hit the standard ride, the holiday/halloween overlay, or the down time to put up the overlay?

My understanding is that it's down for most of September. I don't know when it closed in 2006, but it was early September. It reopened September 29 or 30, right after our trip.

The dates last year were September 11-28 you should be fine!

good news. Glad it will likely be open. We are taking some friends for their family's first time. I've never seen the halloween version. Is it going to be dissapointing that our friends will not be experiencing the "real" haunted mansion?
