I don't really start packing until a few days before we leave. I did it a bit early last year and everything was so wrinkled in the suitcase when we got there.
I have things from last year (beach toys, ponchos etc.) that we'd only use there already in the suitcases. I have certain things in the closet that we will not wear until vacation. A few of the bathing suits are put away because I do not want the kids to "pick" them up before we go. I am going to pick up some snacks and little cereals to pack this year.
The day before we leave I finish packing (toiletries etc.) and clean the house/change the sheets. Like some of you I like a clean hous to come home to. I do all the laundry so that I don't have to do any on top of our dirty we will be coming back with.
I am so excited to start... the days are creeping by!!
