When does Everest open

I read it somewhere before but when does Everest open in Animal Kingdom?

Lots of rumors flying around about a possible soft opening in April, 2006. The official line is "summer 2006".

Supposedly they're behind schedule...I'm hoping for it to be open by at least June (fingers crossed).

That being said, on another website, there is video of them testing the train on the track...should be a good sign...right?!?

On wdwmagic.com. Unfortunately, you have to join and become a premium member or something -- paying some amount of money. I'm sure they'll be another video of it eventually on a non-pay site.

You can still go to that site and see pictures. Honestly, I like wdwmagic.com for their rumors and up-to-date pictures, I just don't like that you have to pay to see videos and larger-sized pics.
