When does DCL offer "extra" incentives?

I seem to recall from my last cruise in December 2003 on the Wonder that certain times of the year, DCL would offer $400 shipboard credit instead of the usual $200 - plus 10% discount - to rebook onboard.
Does anyone know when these "extra credit" cruises usually are?

Not sure about your question. Just want to ask you how was the weather on your last cruise in Dec.? We are considering going the 1st week in Dec. this year, and concerned about the sea and high waves during Dec. Did you find this true? Thanks and hope someone can answer your question.

The answer to yours is that I sailed the New Years Eve Cruise - too rough to dock at Castaway Cay and high 60's low 70's in Nassau .... I personally would avoid December and January - but many enjoy this time of year.

I remember the onboard re-booking offers you're referring to. I believe most of those were for the special itinerary cruises they had this year in August, September, and October. I know of a few persons on the DIS that did book those.

I'm not sure they have any set practice for offering these extra incentives for onboard re-booking. But, what I can say is what many people probably are aware of that DCL does many times offer extra incentives for September cruises and thereabouts.

That offer was for the Antigua/San Juan cruises. They haven't had anything comparable since.
