Hi everyone :wave2:

When does disney stop celebrating 50 years at WDW in florida?

When does for example the gold trimming on the castle go, and when do they stop doing the cinderellabration or is that now a perminant thing?

Just curious?

The celebration started in May 2005 and finishes 18 months later, around oct/nov this year. Then all the decorations will be taken down and there should be a new parade as well!

I've heard lots of different dates for the end of the celebrations - I think the earliest was the end of September 2006.

I rather like the castle with its lovely gold trimmings and will be sorry to see them go. Good news if there will be a new parade though :)

found this:

Worldwide 18-month celebration in honor of Disneyland's 50th anniversary
May 5, 2005 through early November 2006
All of the parks are participating with new attractions and special events

Disney has now announced the 'next' celebration - Year of a Million Dreams - which starts October 1. Unsurprisingly there's been much speculation about precisely when the castle decorations will come down and whether or not Cinderellabration will be replaced (I think it will - it was brought in from Tokyo Disneyland especially for the 50 Years of Magic), but nothing has been announced officially yet.
