When does the booking window open for reservations that can be made 180-days out?

12:01am Eastern?
6:00am Eastern?
Some other time?

Thanks.

Thanks. My 180-day windows opens later this week and I've been "playing" along for the last few days to test things out. It seems like Le Cellier Steakhouse is always booked from the get go. I'll try 6:00am sharp tomorrow and see what happens.

I've heard that with a 7-day resort reservation (which I have!) I can book all seven days starting 180 days from my arrival date. Other than being logged into my account on "My Disney Experience" is there anything special I need to do in order to book those extra days?

Have a credit card associated to the account. Also, queue up any restaurants you really want.

Humm, you mean like have separate browser window open for each restaurant or is there some queue feature on "My Disney Experience" I have failed to notice?

Ah. I did fail to notice the "My Wish List" feature of "My Disney Experience" Thanks for the tip.

I mean separate browser tabs. The Wish List is semi-useless for ADRs.

Go in expecting failure. A great many people discover that the reservation system crashes in the morning when they try to make their 180 day reservations. Keep trying and if everything fails, set aside half an hour and call Disney when they open.

How does having separate browser tabs help?

I guess a tab for each day/meal you want to search?

Which actually could contribute to the site crashes - it may not be so many PEOPLE trying to book as so many BROWSERS.

i had trouble booking online last time around but was able to call and get all the reservations I wanted via the phone. The wait on the phone was not bad and pretty easy to get done.

The idea is that you'd have your restaurants already opened so you don't get slowed down by having to search for and select each one. Just refresh the page, hit search on your date, then move on to the next tab while the previous one is processing.

Eh, that's poor planning on Disney's side, not the fault of people and their browsers. Load caching is a common practice. It's how a site like CNN stays up when being slammed by a breaking news event. It allows load capacity to increase at times of stress.

Disney IT is not noted for its robust systems.
