When do you think the best time of your life is/was?

I always hear people telling my high school students to enjoy themselves, that it is the best time of their lives. However that is really depressing!
However I do have to admit that the 3 years I spent living at college were great, I was so into everything and felt so alive, everything was an option for me. Now I'm so much more tied down, even though more secure.
What do you think?

I liked high school; I loved college and I really loved our first few years of marriage and the activitites/groups we were involved with.

Now we are settled, boring, and parents, and I love that too!

Sonya, I hear ya . I would have to say that my most FUN-FILLED years were clearly in college. No responsibility to think of. Excitement about learning. NCAA athletics. An occasional sexual exploration or two or three .

However, my most REWARDING years have clearly been as a husband, father, and professional.

Hard to decide..
The years before I got married were awesome...got to run around with all my buddies..now everyone is married with kids..

But then the years I am in now with my girls growing up and being married to a wonderful wife are wonderful too..

The best years of my life have been any of the years where I got to spend them with any of my children, and those I love dearly

At the age I am right now, I'd have to say college was my best time! I'm only 24 though, so hopefully the best years ARE infront of me. Right now is pretty fun too though!

Hmm... all things considered, I think the best times were my college (undergrad) years. I had some rough times, yes, but I had several good friends I could get together with regularly, I loved most of my classes, there were very few worries about the world (worst was typically homework or the tests), I loved the pasttimes I had then that I don't have time for now... I even had DH, though at the time he was BF.

Next up I think is the past 2 years, ever since I started working in the Space program.

I definitely don't include High School in the best years.

My best time has been the years that we've been blessed with a son. I've had so much fun and felt tons of happiness during that time.

right now, i'd say college was the best time in my life. not that i hate my life now, but i miss a lot of the freedom i had in college.

If I thought high school was the high point of my life, I would have probably killed myself by now. And I'm one of the ones who actually enjoyed high school!

I honestly think I'm happier and more excited about life right now than I've ever been! Sure, high school was fun and college was a crazy adventure - but now I have a job I love, an incredible husband to share my life with, I'm hoping to become a mother soon, we can afford to do some traveling - it's great! I think it just keeps getting better.

I would say from about 28-31. But I would want to take DS back there with me!

Best times of my life:
from the year my DS was born(1989) till 2000.
i lived a dream life to me, was a stay at home mom most of that time, DH was able to spend tons of quality time with me and DS and for fun, we hung out at the themeparks at least twice a week that whole time. Nice memories meant to last a lifetime.

Best time of my life was the Walt Disney World College program! High school was a bore and pointless. College was and is still fun. But nothing will beat those 5 months in Disney......3000 college students with no classes to worry about and nothing better to do than party!
