When do you think the AP rates will be released for Jan & Feb?

Do you think they are waiting until they do the next website update which I think is someday next week?

I refuse to book until AP rates come out. Our January trip is uncertain and depends on a good rate for us to stay Deluxe. We could go ahead and book Pop with the GP discount, but I'm stubborn and refuse to help fill those rooms without the AP discount.

We are waiting to book the GF RPC with the AP rates for our January 17th trip...I usually book quick and pay it off before we get there...but im still waiting for the dern rates as well....ggggrrrrrrr

I hear y'all! This is getting my OCD to go throughthe roof checking for release of AP discounts several times a day. Our trip is in 70 days-c'mon already.

Our Jan/Feb trip is dependent on getting a good AP rate.

There are the GP room discounts out there. If we didn't book with one of them for our 1st week of Feb rooms this past Feb, we wouldn't have even had the 40% off! The AP discount for the WL was 45 % off but NEVER avail for our Woods view at WL. I checked EVERY day so if you want to go the GP rates aren't that bad and not that much difference from what AP has been recently anyway. Just a thought.

We aren't getting our APs until Christmas, so I was wondering if/when I can find out when the discounts come out? Is there a website just for AP holders? Will it be announced to the public?

You can always call Disney (or have your TA do it) for the information. You don't have to have a pass to find out what the rates are or even to book, you just need it (or a voucher) when you check in. I didn't buy my AP until the day I left but I booked an AP rate a month prior. When I checked in at midnight, all I had was the voucher.

So, we can actually book with an AP discount even if we don't have AP's yet?! I want to book for April, but we won't have our annual passes until we go in another few weeks. But wait...just thinking...the AP rates probably aren't even out for april yet, right?!

That's correct. You can call and book an AP rate room w/out having purchased the AP yet. You'll need to show the AP at check-in.

The AP rates are only out for stays through Dec 25, 2010 right now.
They should be extending those dates any day - watch this thread and you'll know.

I've seen the GP discounts and they are good, but I think we'll continue waiting on the AP rate. There seems to be lots of availability the weeks we are looking at and we are not selective about the type of room we need or even where we stay.

I appreciate the GP rates and have taken advantage of them several times, I just wish Disney would reward the loyalty of their AP holders by releasing AP rates first...

Is anyone else hopeful that after the system comes back up tomorrow (since it is supposed to be down after 5pm today) that AP rates will be available?

Maybe I am just thinking wishfully.....

I am booked POR Standard room with the GP discount for our dates, but really want a King at CB or possibly a club room at WL for my birthday in January. There are no more GP discounts in mods or values for the weekend we are going, but it looks like there is availablility in all room categories at most resorts at rack rate. I am hopeful they will release some AP rates with those and I can snag a better room for a great rate. Here is hoping AP rates will be availble after their upgrade tonight!

I am hoping that's the case as well. Or else I was hoping that after the 21st the last date they say the GP rates are available maybe they will put out the AP and FL resident discounts. I like the idea of it being after the system comes back tomorrow.

I do think its not right that Disney offers the discount rates to the GP before the AP or FL residents. But then again its their business so they can do what they want and don't have to give us any discounts but we have been so spoiled.

According to the Mousesavers historical discounts page, AP discounts for January 2010 didn't come out until 11/30/09, and for January 2009 they came out on 10/30/08. So we're right in the window.

The % off room GP discount only goes until the middle of February, so it wouldn't be good for March.


Also hoping for good discounts to come out soon... my BFF and I are booked at the Poly in early February for our college graduation trip... with a better discount we might be able to upgrade from garden to theme park view!
