As far as tickets go, when do you think it will be back to normal, as in you buy a DL ticket and show up on any given day? I'm hoping by next summer or sooner.
When we have moved beyond “yellow”.
It’s not a date. It’s a state of public health.
If you can believe it, it's already out to January of 2023.I'm not sure it'll ever be back to what you call "normal." WDW has their reservation system in place through the first half at least of 2022.
I'm sure they want to see if the variants of the virus don't cause more issues. Also there are a LOT of people that are refusing to get vaccinated, so that could impact things, depending upon how many that ends up being.I’d say late summer 2022 once we get the last cohorts of kids vaccinated
Honestly, I think reservations are here to stay, it is the direction all theme parks were headed before COVID for a variety of reasons, so I just think COVID has sped up the process. As far as tickets go, when do you think it will be back to normal, as in you buy a DL ticket and show up on any given day? I'm hoping by next summer or sooner.
If the reservation system stays, will I be able to get reservations to the parks at the same time I make reservations at one of the DLR hotels?
Why do you assume they’ll require vaccine credentials at some point?Must admit, it'll be interesting to see how Disney will check for vaccine credentials, particularly for visitors from overseas. Guess it will be their own choice if they ban unvaccinated people from visiting, unless they can show an example of a recent negative test.
