When do you start packing??

We're going the last week in July and I've already started laying out some supplies and items I want to take...

Dont feel bad. We are going in June and Ive got my bag very "open" in my closet with Disney shirts, ponchos, and a few other items sitting inside.

Who unpacks? :rotfl2: I have a Disney bag/box full of stuff from our last trip including extra ponchos, those hats they HAD to have, lights, etc and start with those! I just add to it from time to time - and yes, we're not going until November!!!!!!!!

We are leaving in two months and I started packing a little two weeks ago.

I will admit this week I went through our under 3oz toiletries to see what I could squeeze in those ziploc bags since we do not like to check the bags. Doing well so far, I am thankful for the 3oz bottles of sunscreen!

I am a planner and organizer, so I do enjoy this part before the trip. :)

no your not crazy.. i tend to do the same, you see something on a good deal.. you pick it up, and if you know you wont use it till you go to disney, then pack it in the bag.

If it were July, I'd be packed..but we're going in 5 days...I can't pack because the weather forecasters can't decide whether it's going to be mid 60's and raining or mid 70's and sunny...grrrrr

I'm officially starting to pack this Sunday. I have been gathering things here and there but nothing major yet. Went shopping for a few "must-have" items and started a pile of clothes. I usually make several packing lists (clothes, toiletries, etc.) but haven't gotten time to do that so far. I can't believe we leave a week from Sunday, though!! :woohoo:

Reading this post makes me feel normal!

Just pulled the new duffel bags out of the box that I bought for the boys and let them air out before I start packing. We leave on April 3rd. I had the boys try on all their shorts from last year to see if they fit.

After reading that lots of you start packing about a month before, I don't feel so crazy. I need to update my packing list so I know we don't forget anything. :yay:

I started planning this trip over 9 months ago and now there's only a month left. The time so going so fast. I sure hope it starts warming up in Orlando!!! :cool2:

I'm crazy about packing for Disney!

I bought a collapsible crate (fabric from Walmart) which I plan to throw dirty laundry in when I get to my hotel. I've been using this to hold odds and ends.

My toiletry bag is already packed...just have to throw in our cases with our glasses. We have sets of contacts in there all ready to go with cases so we don't even have to worry about that the day we leave. Just have to throw our glasses into their cases in the morning before we fly out.

I HAVE to pack in advance and be diligent about it because I work nights and generally work the night before a flight so I can't leave it to my husband or I would be wearing his underwear lol!

I purchased travel size containers many years ago and I just refill those with our favorite shampoos. They are larger than the $1.00 travel size ones and we are guaranteed our favorite products. They are still small enough to take in a carry on though!

I did purchase travel size hairspray and I just refill a small container for the hubby's hair gel.

I start picking up things as soon as I start planning a trip and throw them in a bin in my closet.

I also start buying snacks about a month or so before hand and I've got my coffee, creamer, sugar, hot pot (for heating water) and unbreakable French Press coffee maker packed!

I've ordered crocs, bought new socks, new pajamas and a bunch of new t-shirts for the hubby.

I will probably pack next weekend for our trip and keep the suitcase on our guestroom bed and then the Saturday before we leave I will do a last load of laundry and pack it all up. We leave Monday morning and I work Sunday night so I will have it completely packed and at the front door. I get off work early on Monday so hubby will pick me up at work at 7 and we will head to the airport for our 9:10 am flight.

You can rest assured he will have a checklist too but his will just be :

Put suitcase in car
Put snack suitcase in car
Put glasses in their case and put case in carry on bag.
Put Carry on in car.
Make coffee.
Pour Coffee into two 2go cups.
Pick up wife.

:lmao:
