When do you start packing?

I am going to start packing now!

I start making a list 6-8 weeks of everything we need to pack and buy beforehand. I ship diapers, toiletries, formula, baby food a week before and pack for the 3 of us 2 days ahead of time (to limit as much unpacking by DD as possible!) BK (before kids) I was packed up to 2 weeks ahead of time!

I finished packing.....the pants, shirts and undergarments-(that almost)
Now I have to pack my carry-on, but I will leave that for tomorrow!

How else is done packing?

We don't go until late Aug and I already have a section in dd closet of nothing but things that are going on our trip. Our packing will be begin 1 wk before our trip at least.. we usually drive but this year we are flying so I need to make sure we don't forget anything and I have to have my luggage weighed before we leave so we don't incur a nice little fee for exceeded weight limits!

we dont go till october and i am desperate to pack but so far I have been buying the bits and pieces we need, been doing that since last year actually!!, i need to clear out my spare room during the summer hols and when i have done that then i can start putting things in little piles and the suitcase packing can commence, i too make lists , we fly out on a monday so i finish work on the friday and have the weekend to check, check and double check the cases, clean the house from top to bottom then go and see Mickey......

cant wait... i am so excited

ME TOO!!!!!! It's killing me and I have to be sneaky about the little things I am gathering because the trip is a surprise Mommy & DD trip and she doesn't know yet!!!
