When do you send out your Christmas Cards?

I already bought my Christmas Cards for this year! When do you usally send yours out? Closer to Christmas or near the beginning of December so they can be displayed?

I usually begin writing mine on Thanksgiving weekend and send them out as soon after that as I finish.

Those will be going out the first week-end in December.

I have boxes and boxes that I get discounted. I get so much and then I'm afraid that I'll give someone the same exact card as the year before!!!

I usually send mine out beginning of December. Have you guys seen the cute holiday stamps the post office has this year, with baked cookies on them??

I was just updating the shopping list. 50% done :bananas: now I need to go and purchase cards. Where does one purchase a box of cards anyway? Or is it better to purchase them individually?

Usually I do it the 1st or 2nd week of December. This year doing the Christmas Cards Exchange on the boards, it will be a little earlier.

(from a resent thread) Abby here. yes, I have my cards and I started writing out the envelopes. I actually ran out and need to buy another box. I do everything ahead of time so I don't forget and then I am late. They will be done and ready to be mailed out the first week of December. I have all my shopping done for a while just have to wrap the gifts. I hate wrapping so I really take my time with that.

I got my Christmas Cards on clearance at Hallmark about 2 months ago lol. I have also gotten some cute boxed cards at Target in years past.

I also buy them on clearance the year before!!

I usually strive to send them out December 1st, but this year, I'm hoping to get a really good picture of the kids in WDW to make into a card. We get home 12/11, and I'm hoping I'll know which one I want to use by then (by reviewing on the digital camera) and then I can get them printed at Walmart (one hour) and sent out within a couple days of returning home.

That reminds me...I need to get my labels printed up & ready to go!

The regular stores now have them, and I had gotten these really cute snowman ones at Boarders.
