When do you put your Magic Bands on?

Since I drive there (2 hours), we put them on as soon as we get in the car. That's officially the start of vacation.

I always put ours on at our home airport prior to boarding our flight. I hate scrambling to do it when our flight lands. This way all we have to do is retrieve our luggage and proceed to Disney's Magical Express. I am so gonna miss Disney picking up and delivering our luggage. Just 48 hrs till we board our flight.:mickeyjum:stitch:🏰
I pull them out when we make our bathroom stop after we land in Orlando.

We keep ours in the glove compartment and put them on once we are on Disney property. The real question for me is when do you take them off? I’ve already drove home and stopped at a store or restaurant on the way home and still had my ears and mb on. Laughed when I saw my reflection in the window while getting back in the car, or knocking my ears off as I get in the car.
Lol...we take ours off once we get to MCO, usually after we check our luggage and before security if there's a longer wait.

In the MCO airport as I am on my to check-in for DME. Since I booked with Meers for my first trip next year, will probably do the same. Won't need it for Meers, but need to have it on to check into the resort.

On the plane for us as well. Occasionally, they get flagged in security and I have to take it off, so now I just have it ready in my bag for anytime after security. Now I have pre-check tho, so maybe that morning!

Yeah I tend to pack my back into the backpack as I'm leaving the resort room in the morning. I'm usually on the early early early in the morning flight so I don't even get a chance for breakfast or one last run through the gift shop on checkout day.

When we pull out of the garage. I do always check in at the front desk though since we've had problems with my wife being able to charge on her band.

I intend to put it on at the airport, but usually forget. Once, as we were loading the cart with bell services, I had to grab my backpack to get it before they whisked it away. Each day, I take it off at night and put it back on each morning after getting dressed. On leaving, I usually take it off as we’re leaving the resort, but once while going through the Pre-Check line, I was “lucky” enough to get the secondary random body screening and TSA pointed out that I still had it on.

Omgggggggggg such an exciting part of the trip!
I throw my family’s in my camera bag. We throw them on once we land.
It’s always a project picking out which to wear. Lol. My daughter and myself wear our newest limited edition one usually. My wife thinks they are a waste so she always says “pink or purple I don’t care”. Lol she is a magic band fuddie dud!

lol

We drive. We put them on as we get closer to WDW. Usually when we start seeing the signs or get into WDW itself. Need Magic Bands for our upcoming trip. Very underwhelmed with the selection on shopdisney lately. No 50th anniversary or Halloween magic bands.

We drive so I usually put mine on at the last potty/gas stop. My son keeps his in the console and puts his on just before we get to the guard shack at the resort.

We won't get in until late at night and we're staying off property this time so I will put mine on when I get into the car to hit the parks! my husband is using his Apple watch instead of a Magic Band...what a fuddy dud! lol

We put our MBs on before we get into the car to drive to the airport. If we have an early flight we put them on at the hotel before walking out into the airport to go through security etc. Had a trip in July and VERY much missed checking our bags and finding them in our room upon arrival. Took ME for the last time in July even though we are headed back in October and December as we are doing private transportation since we have to corral our bags anyway. More pixi-dust has gone to the wayside. :rotfl2: (Magic Bus never showed up for our return trip in July. Riviera bell services had to call a taxi for us as we had waited 75 minutes and were afraid we would miss our flight.)
