When do you pay cash ressie?

If we want to make a ressie that will be half using points and half paying cash, when do we pay the cash part? Does MS take a credit card and charge you at the time of booking or do we pay the cash part at check-in? Thanks

The cash nights will be paid at check-in at the resort for stays reserved thru MS. If you reserve thru CRO a deposit will need to be paid in advance.
