When do you go on Grizzly River Run?

In the afternoon when it is HOT! We make it our last ride before heading to the hotel (we stay at the GCH so it is literally RIGHT there) for a little break and maybe a bite to eat before heading out again. That way we can change clothes if we get wetter than we'd like to get lol

Even with a poncho I got wet last time. Water somehow wound up splashing up from my feet, UNDER the poncho, and my butt got soaked. But, although you're always going to get at least a little wet, some people get it worse than others and there's no rhyme or reason to it that I can see. On person on your raft will leave with minimal damage while another looks like they just got out of a pool.

Oh, and if you have kids, the best time to ride is whenever they're hot and cranky because it will completely refresh them and make them laugh and they'll be good for at least another hour after that.

The water on this ride always seems to give me a rash on my skin. They must pump it full of chlorine?

On Sunday we went around 10:30am when it was cloudy and a five minute wait, honestly we will go on it whenever because we love water rides. Me and DH always have running bets who will get soaked more. Usually he does
