When do you get your membership card?

We closed on a BWV resale Jan15th.
We even received our recorded deed for BLT add-on Fri.

When will we get our cards?
We have a trip in 5 weeks & want to get APs w/ the DVC discount.

I got mine about a month after I closed. I closed on 2/2 and received them by the 1st week in March.

You may want to call MS about getting new ones sent. I have also heard you can get temporary ones at SSR once you get there.

We closed at WDW, but we had our membership cards printed before we even left the closing. I would definitely call MS - it seems odd that you would have your recorded deed before your cards.

I'd suggest calling MS. If you don't get them by the time you get to WDW, stop by the DVC sales office at SSR. They will print them on the spot in about 5 minutes.

It is strange that you haven't gotten them yet!

I sent them an email yesterday & today they sent me this reply:

Member ID Cards should arrive in 4 to 6 weeks. Your ID Cards where
requested the second week of January.

Please verify your address below.

Please reply back to us and advise if this is your correct address. If
not, please send us an update and also include your new phone number. We will then request new Member ID Cards to be printed.

You don't need your membership card to order your AP. You need the card and a picture ID when you pick them up.

We will be upgrading MYW passes after we get there.

We got our ID cards, or at least the ones we thought were the final ones, the same moment we signed the papers. However, about a month a half later we received a second set of membership cards.

Just to add to this threaad. We received some paper type cards that were printed on a normal printer. Is that our card or temporary. We are not sure what to expect. Is the actual membership card hard plastic like a credit card or just a piece of paper.

I too closed in early January and have yet to get me membership card. I was told I should get my deed in the mail (that came a few weeks back) and a fed ex package would come with my membership card(s) and some other stuff. Still waiting on second part.

The paper version you get when you sign the contract is a temporary.

My resale closed on March 10th (just a little over 5 weeks after making the offer), and our hard plastic cards came today by USPS priority mail . Got the Vacation Planner book over a week ago, also USPS priority mail.
