When do we get fireworks?

I've heard that Disney is now the only cruise ship from the coast gaurd with permission to shoot of fireowrks, but when can we see them, I go on April 9th Wst. Carribean (lucky me ) and i was just wondering if i would be able to see fireworks, or if i would be able to, our cruise isint on a special ittenarary, but i still want some fireworks

OOOHHH! I love fireworks. Is it something that will continue on DCL or is it just temporary?

They just started it in December & will start on the Wonder in February so it looks like it will be around for a while.

Like BUDWMM said above, it is on Pirate Night and what a party that is. Great music, great fun! There's a buffet set up and in the middle of it all, they shoot three rounds of fireworks off the stack behind the party. It was awesome! The sky is so big and black at sea and with the lights turned down low on the ship, it lit up the sky! Awesome..you'll love it.
