my sister wants to take her son and so to be husband to Disney. They are getting married soon, and I wanted to buy them 7 day park tickets as a gift. Either for wedding or Christmas. My problem is they aren't sure if they will go in 2016 or 2017. Will they expire before they can use them??

Also. They are very unlikely to stay on site as they have use of a timeshare, but in the event they want to stay on site, can they add these tickets and use them toward a package with dining?

Lastly. How should I package it?? Should I put them in a box somehow. Or just stick them in a card??

They deserve this. She left an abusive relationship and raised her son all on her own. This man loves her son like his own and is just incredible. They have lower paying jobs, but are still extremely happy. We just want to help ease the pain of cost of a family vacation. Thanks for any help!

Tickets that are currently available to the general public do not expire until 14 days following the first day that they have been used to enter a park. If you were to gift them with tickets you purchase now, they will be good for whenever they take their vacation.

If they choose to stay onsite, there is a way to book what Disney refers to as a "ticketless package" but it must be done over the phone. The package can include room + dining but no tickets.

Regardless of how you package the tickets, they will be happy to receive them. You could make it a simple card, use a gift card holder or create an elaborate park basket with maps, sunscreen, Mickey eas, battery-powered fan, etc.
