When do they shut the lines down? Can you ride during Wishes?

First, I don't get why the parks are not open for those crazy late EMHs (12a, 3a) during summer when it really makes the most sense with both crowds and weather. But I digress...

My real question is, if the park is closing at 10p, but Wishes is at 10p, can you ride while Wishes is going on if you wanted to "skip" it? When do they shut the lines down?

We do more than one day per park so we often choose to experience attractions during the fireworks on one or more of those nights and you can enter the line right up to official park closing.

I don't get it either, especially with increased crowd levels. Not only do they not do super late EMH in the summer, but in addition to cutting the 3 hours to 2, they also stopped the second evening of evening EMH per week at MK in 2012. I miss the days of having so many options
