Hi ... we haven't been to DLP for a few years and think it's about time, so we are thinking of Halloween for 2012. Does anyone know when they generally announce the dates for MNSSHP as we would like to fit this into our schedule. Thanks.

Its not happening this year theyre only hosting the main party on 31st October :sad2:

Wouldn't surprise me. It's probably easier not to do it and blame the anniversary for it than fix the things a lot of attendees complained about last year. ;)

Seriously ... thats so disappointing ... we were hoping to the Halloween party and the one in the Studios ... not impressed at all. We have been to the Halloween night party on the 31st and it is so crowded.

They might be doing the Terror nights in the Studios as it's totally different from the MNSSHP and went very well.

It's too early to say atm though as it's generally announced June time if I remember right

There is no MNNSHP this year, I emailed admin after I was informed by some CM's that it was being cancelled this year due to 20th celebrations. Halloween will probably be scaled back more than what it was last year.

Cancelling special events is commonplace at DLP
in 2011 they cancelled "pirates and princesses" even though many guests had booked for one of the events ... i was gutted ... well, no comment

Wow reading this thread about cancellations may have just saved me a fortune I was hoping to attend a party on my birthday. Did that a couple of years ago, and it was a fantastic night. If there is no party then I don't know if I want to go :(

I am still so disappointed ... we havne't been to DLP for a while and we love Halloween so we were planning a big trip with family and friends, MNSSHP and the Terror Night, and now it looks like nothing is happening. I think I will wait a while until I book anything, just in case they change their minds.

We were there October 2010 and although we didn't do MNSSHP we loved the decorations, Frontierland and the additions to the parades and shows.

Many people who visited in October 2011 were really disappointed about the lack of decorations, so maybe it will be a thing of the past. Such a shame. :sad2:

So glad I have read this I was going to book tomorrow for the 1st weekend in October, really dont know what to do now:confused3
