When do they decorate for Christmas?

We'll be at WDW Oct. 31-Nov. 13. I'm just curious when they begin decorating for the holidays & if we will have a chance to enjoy the decorations while we are there.

Also, I saw that someone mentioned Veteran's Day is very busy. Is this true?

.....but I believe they decorate for Christmas the week of Thanksgiving. I'm
not sure how they do it, but one day you go to bed and the next day you
wake up to all the decorations. It's part of that Disney Magic we've come
to love.

Sometimes they start to decorate the first week in Nov so that come Thanksgiving there done. In 05 the AK had there big Christmas tree out front up by the 3rd of Nov.And I know the BCV had there trees up too. Now all the decoration my not be up but you will see at least part of them.

your going at a great time.... u will get to see the halloween decorations and the christamas.... the parks usually get set up for christmas early november; so b4 u leave u will get to c christmas at disney....
dont forget to check out the osborne lights in mgm.... its unbelievable.

The tree in front of AK was up the first week of November 2006 as well. And in Epcot the light bridge/cover/thing was up that week as well, though I don't know if they lit it at night.
