When do the "incredible Vacation" packets arrive?

Hi I have a reservation for my good friends that I made around the 11 month window. They aren't going until November. However, I, nor they have received a "Incredible Vacation" packet that I usually get for any of our Disney trips. I don't know if this is because they aren't close enough to the travel date or if there is a problem. They have already reached the date they can book dining so I would have thought they would have received it by now. I chatted with MS and they said it probably wasn't close enough to travel date. They weren't very helpful and truthfully I suspect this probably comes from Disney not DVC.

Can someone please tell me when you usually receive this packet? I want them to receive it so they can start ordering and customizing Magic bands and such. Any suggestions?

Thanks for any help!

I just got mine last week for a late September trip. I think Disney doesn't want to send them out too early since so many people change travel plans so often in the months leading up to a trip.

But this packet has nothing to do with ordering Magic Bands or making ADRs. Once you have your reservation confirmation number they can go to MDE and start getting things lined up. If they have bought tickets they can use the voucher number and link them to the magic bands at any point now.

Thank you Granny. I think they already started with the MDE site. I guess m one question for you would be when did you book that trip? Was it months ago or just recently. Trying to figure out when they send them. With reservation or a certain time before travel. Thank you!!

I get them within a few days of booking - or at least within a week of booking. This year it's absolutely crazy because I'm piecing together a couple of rooms so I get multiple packets for what I hope to be single reservations. :headache: I'd say that if it's at 6 months out from the check-in and the reservation was made at 11 months out that something went wrong - maybe it's the wrong mailing address like the email problem? I'd also guess that it comes from Disney and isn't something that DVC has much to do with though.

I just this week received two for a split stay at AKL in Jan. I usually get mine within two months of making a reservation.

I booked mine in early June and received my small book yesterday with the Incredibles on the front

The mailings come from an outside contractor with data provided by Disney not the DVC. DVC feeds Disney the reservation info but often DVC and Disney have trouble talking. If the DVC reservation is showing in MDE, that means that Disney received the feed from DVC. If the mailings don't happen it's either a Disney or contractor issue.

We're going in November and I am also piecing together a reservation - have several single days trying to make 1 continuous reservation at the same resort - and I have received the incredible packets within a week or two of making the reservation.

I've gotten my last 2 booklets within a few weeks of booking. My BLT booklet I got at about 10 months and it included the handy magnet ((which is right in front of my face on the fridge and yet I keep on signing in to my MDE to check the dates I can book X or Y as I forget it's there)) and my little pre cruise add on, with came with the booklet but didn't include the magnet any longer; the data was just printed on the back page.

To be honest I do think it's a waste of $$ but whatever.
