When do the hotels decorate for xmas?

Hi everyone!

I recently booked a trip for a friend and I at the end of November, staying in Newport Bay Club.

Just wondering if anyone knows when the hotels start decorating for Christmas? Will they do it from November 4th to match the parks?

Our winter trips usually take place in December so I wasn't entirely sure when decorations in hotels etc actually all go up!

by the time you arrive everything Christmas will be in full swing, including all the hotel and park decorations .

We went for the very start of Christmas season a couple of years ago, the first official day of Christmas season was the Monday, but on the Saturday before that the park was fully decorated.

They go up as the haloween ones come down. We stayed at the New York in October half term two years ago, we got up in the morning and Christmas trees had appeared and that was while the haloween decorations were still up.

We are there 31 Oct - 2 Nov and the last two mornings EMH is in the studios with none in the park so that they have time to start putting up Christmas decorations. It's a bit odd as there is an overlap!

It's weird as the front of the hotels were decorated when we arrived on the 25th October last year, and the DLP had their shop windows dressed for Christmas!
