When do the Holiday Lights/Decorations come down?

We just booked a trip for January 1-6 and I was curios if the Holiday Decorations would still be up for any part of this trip? I went Jan. 1 of 2000 (when everyone was freaking out about Y2K LOL) and the lights were still up for the whole week we were there. I wanted to know if that was still the case or does Disney now Magic them away by Jan 2?

Hi! I went Jan 8th-13th in 2015 and the parks were still decorated for Christmas (though I remember thinking that some things were missing/toned down.) However, all the big trees are still up. We stayed at All Star Movies which was still decorated until the 10th, though they took the lobby decor down the weekend we were there (overnight, mind you.) My guess is you'll see quite a bit!

We were there this year from 1/12-20 and they were still up for the first few days we were there. So I'd say you'll have no issue seeing them from the 1-6

The last few years they haven't started to come down til around the 15th or so.

We were there Jan 1-6, 2015. They were all still up. We even joked that they were still playing Christmas music in some areas and we had had enough! Great time to go!
