When do the Christmas items go on sale?

So, my family and are travelling to DW December 12 thru 20. I would like to do some Christmas gift shopping there. I was wondering when do the Christmas items go on sale in the parks and at DTD?

We were there last year from Dec. 8-13 and the day we left, all the ornaments and shirts were all I THINK 50% off. We stayed at Old Key.

We were there starting Dec 22 and it was all half off then, boy did I stock up! I can't wait to get into my Christmas boxes this year, because I know I've forgotten about a lot that I bought, and that will ease the sting of having to be home this year, and not at the Happiest Place on Earth.

(Another bonus is there are no crowds in my living room!)

When we were there last year everything was 50% off the first day we were at Epcot on December 12th. If you find something you like, buy it quickly. Things were being cleaned out as we were sitting there especially christmas hats. We got all but one that we wanted for our family of 4. Maybe we'll be able to get that one this year. We're going down from the 10th through the 18th.

Does anyone know if it is just the ornaments & clothing items that are 50% off...or do they also put the collectibles like Jim Shore at 50%?
