When do rooms go out reg sales?

I am wondering, at what point to rooms go out for regular sale to the public at a DVC property? I remember that a % of rooms stay to the "house" for sale to non-dvc reservations, but at what point? (2 weeks, 1 month) before an arrival date?

at the 60 days before arrival - all the unused villas are released to CRO - before then it varies greatly -

there is a 5%(might be less) that DVD kepts and unless they are doing work at the resort - this is rented.

when a DVC member trades out to any outside source (except II) -then the villa goes to CRO to rent out. this is the thing that is hard to determine.

Does this hold true for resorts that are strictly DVC, like OKW and SS? or only properties that are duel use, like BWV and BCV?

The reason I asked was I called MS to check availability, and had plenty of studios at the BWV and SS for a weekend, 2 days ago. Called today and htey were booked out. I hesitated making the res because I had been looking for airfare. It Just seemed really odd to book that quickly.

all the dvc resorts that were unused go to CRO at the 60 day mark - doesn't matter where they are - I think even HH and VB.

May is the start of the new celebration - and all the members know now it - so if that was your time - I think members got them all....sorry!
