When do new items get released now?

I'm so confused and maybe once and for all somebody can set me straight on this. Are items being released on Fridays or Saturdays now? In the mornings or the evenings? Is there any consistent pattern yet or are they just keeping us guessing?

On the vmk newsletter page they added a Trading with Ned section (or something like that...) and here is what he says:

Old Ned will do his best to keep you up to date on the latest fashions and furnishings – speaking of that, starting immediately look for new items to be released on Saturday's. (I'll let you know what goes on sale the day before, on Friday.)

Just don't count on the newsletter OR Ned being entirely accurate all the time...Just when you think you've got things on vmk figured out, they'll change it up again. One thing consistent with vmk is that they are constantly inconsistent!

That seems to be the trend lately. Maybe that is part of the whole magic month, the magic of figuring out when things will happen or come out.

Late on Friday(today!) Ned will tell us what goes on sale Saturday(tomorrow!).
But there may be something unmentioned in there, as the Red HKDL was
unmentioned in the newsletter and it still went on sale.

Does anyone know if the HKDL and Valentines stuff retired yet?
