Hope this helps someone here. Concerning nedac's comment. I actually read the post being talked about and it got me intrigued so I made a call to see if we might have one of these pins coming out attached to our name. We already had a room only booked at CSR with only one of the nights qualifying for a discount but sure enough I asked the CM and she said yes you do have this under your name but the only problem is I can't book it for you until July 13th.
At CSR this is a
Free Dining promotion and you have to stay at least 3 days and not more than 14. Since we will be recieving this the CM said we would have to change our room only to a package to get the free dining. She did that while we were on the phone and did inform me that of course she couldn't give me what the savings price would be with the promotion because it wouldn't be in effect until July `13th. I'm not quite sure what dates this covered --I didn't ask because the dates we wanted were part of the promotion Oct 30-Nov 3. She took care of switching everything over and then told me to call back on the 13th to have it applied.
That was yesterday and then today I realized that I didn't really get any info from her about what to give when I call in so I called back today to make sure that what she told me was correct and exactly what to do when the 13th came. The new CM did confirm again that I did have it attached to my name and the only info she would give me was that those who get these should get them any time either by snail mail or email. She couldn't really confirm that I would get it in person before the 13th--she said it could come as late as the 12th or 13th. I asked what do I do if I don't get anything before the 13th since I want to call in right away on the 13th and she told me to just call like I did today and let them know that there was a 15 digit pin associated with my reservation.
I'm glad I called to check because there is always the possibility that we could miss getting this in the mail or the email. Of course I'm hoping that we do get it in person before I have to call on the 13th because even though 2 CM's have told me we have it it's never a sure thing until you are able to apply it or get the pin in person. It just made me feel better today that I could confirm this with another CM since we changed the whole booking to a package which of course comes with different cancellation penalties.
The only other info I got was that for the Mod we are staying at CSR -it would include the 1 Table service, 1 Quick service and 1 snack per person per day. I'm very anxious to see what this will save us. I'm thinking somewhere around $45/person/day---Does anyone know for sure???
Anyway just hope this may help give hope to all those of you anxiously awaiting something for Oct/Nov. And of course I will be holding out hope that what they told me does happen by the 13th.
I, too, have to call back in a couple weeks to be able to use it!! Now I just have to get everything priced out to see which level hotel we will stay at and price flights to see if we can fly or if we have to drive! I am so super excited, my DS will hopefully get to celebrate his 5th birthday there just like me DD did 4 years ago!!!
