When do my dining credits start?

I arrive on a Friday. Am I able to use my dining credits starting that day I check in? I know you receive dining credits per each night of your stay... this doesn't mean that my dining credits start Saturday after that first initial night, right?

Credits start immediately upon checkin and are good until midnight on day of checkout

They are testing "bypass the check-in" at certain resorts which means if you did the online check-in you would not be required to go to the desk at all if you didn't want to.

I would guess that in those situations, the dining credits are available to you on the day of your arrival at the resort.
