When do I start paying my monthly MFs?

I bought into SSR yesterday with their 90.00 special. Do I start paying my monthly MF now/next month or do I start paying them in Dec, when my UY starts? I'm kindof confused and my guide didn't explain this to me and I really don't want to call him back. Also can I give them a date during the month to pull the money out of my account or do they automaticly take the money on the 1st of each month?

Congratulations!

You pay pro-rated dues the first year starting from your purchase date, assuming you are getting current UY points (Dec 2009) with your purchase. Since you purchased yesterday you will owe approximately 6 months worth of dues for 2010 (Jul-Dec). They won't begin billing you until you close on your contract. It can take a month or two to close so you will end up paying those 6 months of dues in 4 or 5 payments depending upon how quickly you close.

You have a choice of payment dates of either the 1st or the 15th of the month.

You will owe prorated dues for 2010 based on your closing date. If you signed up for automatic debits, those should begin on the 1st of the month (another 30+ days after closing).

If you close in July, your first debit will be on September 1. You should receive an invoice well before the due date. The prorated amount will be divided into 4 equal monthly payments.

Since you mentioned that your use year is December, you likely received 2009 points. You will not owe any dues for those points.

The 2009 points will be free of 2009 dues. Of the 6 months of pro-rated 2010 dues, 5 months' worth are for the 2009 points and 1 month's worth go towards the 2010 points. The remaining 11 months' worth of dues on the 2010 points will be covered by the 2011 dues.
