When do Hallmark and Pier1 go to 75% off?

I'm waiting on Hallmark to go to 75% off to pick up some stocking stuffers for next year. Does anyone know when this will happen? Also, what about Pier1? The signs in the windows still say 50% off.

Where do you live? The Hallmarks around me (Chicago suburbs) are still just at 40% off!! Grrr I might check one store near my work to see if they are at 50% off today... I broke down and bought an ornament yesterday at 40 off just because I was afraid I wouldn't get it otherwise... Good luck!!

Our Hallmark stores were 50% off as of yesterday. They had tons of stuff left, but Dh was with me and I was only able to buy a couple things. He's such a party pooper.

I don't know on Pier 1. On Friday they were still at 1/2 around here and there was a TON left!!!! I did get some cute scarves on their normal clearance sale for $5.79 each. But I left the Christmas stuff behind.

I might try Pier 1 today, but no promises. They usually will do markdowns after close on Sundays. Don't know what the markdown might have been for last night though.

Stopped by a Hallmark store today 1/3 and they still had the 40% signs up. Still quite a selection of ornaments remaining.

I went and ours was 50% off and they had a lot at one store and hardly anything at another.

I asked the salesperson when they go 75% off and she said, "oh, do we go to 75% off?"

So I asked another and he said they hadn't been informed about another further reductions but to try again this week.

Coastal Central FL (Melbourne area). Maybe each Hallmark is different in terms of when they mark down?

I was in a Hallmark today that was 75% off. Had quite a few ornaments left. They also had the reindeer pillow pet for $6.25

For Hallmark it may be up to each individual store owner whether or not to discount and what to discount.
